Carrier-Capable Naval Combat UAV
The Bayraktar TB3 is an advanced carrier-capable unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) developed by Baykar Technologies. Designed for shipboard operations, the TB3 features foldable wings enabling deployment from the Turkish Navy's TCG Anadolu amphibious assault ship.
The TB3 made its maiden flight in October 2023 and represents a significant leap from its predecessor, the TB2. It is built to operate from short-take-off platforms and naval vessels, extending Türkiye's unmanned naval aviation capabilities into blue-water operations.
With improved avionics, a more powerful engine, and enhanced payload capacity compared to the TB2, the TB3 is designed for maritime patrol, anti-ship operations, and precision ground strike missions in contested environments.
